No, with -fl 2, as suggested in Jay's email

No, I still boot using the serial console and then go in through ssh

When the machine rebooted after the install, the graphic console was
blue (it turns red when the console gets redirected to serial from the
kernel) and the aboot prompt was there (complaining that the default A
line was not defined in aboot.conf). The keyboard was not working. I
reset the machine, and then the keyboard worked again in SRM. I then
booted with no option (from the harddisk), and aboot complained again
about the missing A line, but the keyboard was still functional at that
point, so I entered 0 and the system booted (with console=ttyS0).
