I have a PC164 system that died on me. I've worked it out of my
network now and I'm willing to give it away to anyone who is able
to come to my place to get it, whole or in parts. It's in Oakland,
California. No shipping, you need to come get it.

I'm keeping the hard drives, but the rest is for the taking,
including the system board, memory, chassis, CD-ROM, video card,
SCSI card. The system doesn't work (no SRM prompt) but I haven't
diagnosed the part that is broken. I can say for sure that the
power supply is *not* the problem. (I tested with a known good
power supply.) I can also say that the CD-ROM is marginal, but
likely not the problem at hand. Everything else is up in the air.

You can use it for spare parts for your own system, or perhaps
you have an inop system of your own that you can use as parts to
repair this system.

Contact me directly if you are interested. If I don't get any
takers, I'll take it to a computer parts recycler for disposal.
