Secondary architectures and marketing

Dear Dominik, & list:

I have not seen you posting much to this list. Those who are regulars on this
list know that I help out any way that I can.

I don't have anything against RedHat, in fact I own stock. But I think the
Fedora group is perhaps too closely identified with RedHat's corporate
interests. The other thing I think would help is a longer period of user
testing between releases.

A single car wreck could wipe out the entire team of Alpha maintainers -
assuming they were all riding together. It is impossible for them to keep up
with the Fedora schedule. If there are unworkable things in Fedora, then they
will be unworkable in the Alpha version as well.

As to my specific complaints about Fedora 10, I could file bug reports, but
unfortunately these are "features" of the distro. FWIW, I really like Fedora 6.
