Hi!

Indeed. Unfortunately, since major upstream source (glibc, kernel) gave up on Alpha, even I threw away my machines :-/

Best,
 Oliver

Hi,
I'm still here for listening ...
I didn't powered on my machines for months because of too less spare time, but I'm sure the day will coming.
Some years ago I moved all to Gentoo ..., it would be interessting if I can put all the updates since the months :-)

Dirk

Kernel at 3.18 is pretty much up to date on Alpha. Glibc at 2.19 is working well on Alpha.

Cheers
Michael.

i had some hands-on again on my Alphastation 500/400 and re-installed Alpha Core 3 ;-)

now, i'm just wondering if someone still has the updates made for AC3 somewhere and would make them available to download, so i would be able have them in my local repo.

to my knowledge all the ftp-sites from the past are no longer up and running.
(e.g ftp://ftp.rdsor.ro/pub/Linux/Distributions/AlphaLinux/core)
