running windows under linux?

You can do one of two things. You can either run individual programs in 
Linux using Wine http://www.winehq.com or you can run a virtual machine 
using VMWare. A google search should find you plenty of info about it.

I don't think any Linux screen reader will work with Wine, and nor will 
JAWS either, I suspect. I don't know if JAWS runs in VMWare either.
