Download tool for multiple files or wildcards in http

I haven't been following this discussion so far, but it doesn't look like FTP's
multiple get feature has been mentioned. FTP has an mget command which
recognizes meta-characters like *. There's also a prompt command which toggles
whether mget prompts or doesn't prompt before each file.
