Hello bertil, I'm sure you already know that very well, but if you fdisk and mke2fs on a partition you'll destroy it. There's no straightforward way of "converting" a dos partition in a linux one keeping all data because they're very different. You'd better make a backup and then do all that fdisk, mke2fs, etc. cheers leo
