Viavoice?

Hi,

Awhile ago we were talking about Viavoice from the only information we had
available, and kicking around the idea of some sort of consortium.

Then one of our stalwarts, who might have been more cognizant of "nobles
oblige", wrapped us on the knuckles for working with what we had, and
telling us insider information that individual licenses would be made
available and that we should wait awhile.

Well, we've waited awhile, but I don't think any further information has
been made available. Does anybody know what is available or how soon
something new might come along? I'm a braille user, but to get relatively
high quality speech would be very nice.
