Installation attempt doesn't resemble documented procedure...HELP PLEASE.

Hi John,

Do you remember (I never do :) where the HowTo came from? Perhaps if it's
anything Janina has control over she can get rid of the obsolete one. The
internet is a great place for ancient garbage and it really messes things
up.

If the entire Fedora distribution came from pointers in that old HowTo,
though, it should be internally consistent so presumably isn't the cause of
the swap partition hang(???)

Note also that the first IDE hard disk is HDA; I assume HAD was just a typo.
(If it did give you a chance to write HAD somewhere, that wouldn't have done
things any good...)
