open source accessibility software oppinion enquirey

Hi Kenny,
I think i posted to the speak up mailing list a while ago before i gave up.
You were always very helpful in answering my questions.  Any tips?  It just
seems so hard and every one else seems to know what they are talking about,
i think it is very intimidating for newvies like me to get started.
Although i have been doing a little bit with the oralux project.
