firefox

Hello!
I have heard something about that firefox is accessible in linux for blind people. is it true?
also, I found an odd thing about it.
The firefox package is new, and it requires libc-so.6
But, isn't that an old package that is no longer used by linux?
or has someone put it back again?
if so, then viavoice might work for us!
