seams to be something inside the pdf that causes the error.
This is something you can't fix.
try if pdftohtml will convert for you or maybe try the stuff on
accesss.adobe.com

ultimatley you could do pdf2ps and thent ry the ps2ascii or pstotext
programs.
If that all fails it' simply won't work sorry
