Hello,

Some of you have heard of the liblouis braille translator and
back-translator library. You can now download the source from
www.chpi.org . It is on the downloads page, along with a lot of other
goodies. liblouis performs translation and back-translation of
contracted braille. It handles 16-bit Unicode natively, and is designed
to work with many languages. It is based on the translation routines in
BRLTTy, but has been much modified. There are Makefiles for both Linux
and Mac OS X. see the README file for details.

If anyone makes a Windows DLL for liblouis, I'll put that up too, with
credit, of course.
