Setting up mail

You need to run fetchmail in daemon mode.
fetchmail -d2
will putit in daemon mode, checking for new mail every two minutes.
You also might want to create a .fetchmailrc file with other details like 
the server, protocol username and may be password.
man fetchmailrc.
