I've created plenty of 40 Gb FAT32 partitions on 80 Gb hard drives when
I've set up dual boot machines. Our standard is to make half the disk
Windows and half linux. The biggest HDs I've delt with are 80 Gb though.
I've probably created some Windows-only machines with 80 Gb partitions but
I can't swear to that.
