Linux with Software Synth on Dell Enspiron2600 Laptop

	There may be a free PCMCIA slot on this system. Is there
a particularly good choice for a PCMCIA speech synthesizer card?

	That would also allow the sound card to be available for
normal audio applications. It looks like this particular sound
card does not allow more than one input stream at a time.
