Hello!
No, You don't need to use that guide.

It is because of that you typ /sbin/chkconfig --level 2345 firstboot off
when you've installed fedora.
WHen you get the rebot prompt on the last install screen just press the allt
key and right arrow to get an interactive console window.
then type chroot /mnt/sysimage to mount your installed fedora.
Then type the above command, then you'll be fine.
