Ripping-And-Pausing Streams?

Hi,

This message is a bit late and I hope you solved your 
problem.  However, if you didn't, have you tried mmsclient?  That 
does mms streams and .asx and .asf files nicely.  I'm not sure about 
redirects but I think it would work with those.  Probably the best 
place to get it is either the Debian package or from the Debian pool 
as a source archive.  I have no idea what the main url is but I think 
it's adopted as a Debian package now so might not have a main 
site.  I would try looking at something like:

ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/mmsclient/
