braille is that much different.  Even so, the reason Linux was made open 
source in the first place was to allow for innovation.  If a project comes 
to life as a Linux project and dies then it should not have survived.  On 
the other hand, if a project comes to life under Linux and continues to 
survive you can be pretty sure it's doing so for some good reasons.
