Xubuntu

Hi list.
Does Xubuntu have a screen reader, and if so how do I access it?
I'm trying to find a version of linux that will work on an old windows 98 SE machine I have.
I'm not so worried about speech after the install, as I plan to SSH into it.
I want to set up a mud server.
