Exim4

Greetings,

A happy New Year.

I've been spending the first day of the year trying to send mail from 
Mutt to my SMTP server - without success. It works fine with ssmtp, but 
then fetchmail doesn't work. With exim4 I get the following message when 
I try to send mail:

child exited 127

I'm running Debian Unstable and I have put in 
mail.tpg.com.au:jbsn:<password> in the /etc/exim4/passwd.client file.

I would appreciate some ideas.
