Braille and speech support for *Bsd

Hi list,

I wonder if there is the possibility for braille and speech support for 
FreeBsd, NetBsd, etc.? Has anyone tryed to run brltty on FreeBsd for 
example?

Also I'd be interested in the possibility to install any Bsd system 
without sighted help, for example in a way like it is possible with 
deboostrap or so. I have several linux systems up an running, maybe I 
can manage to get a Bsd system installed from a linux environment.
