has this kernels moved

Hello!
Hmm, I don't have time with such tings. I need a working debian kernel for
speakup.
Now I've tried to compile a new kernel myself, I just patched speakup in
then ran make oldconfig.
Then I went into the module and bui´lt speakup into that kernel.
Then I ran make modules then make modules-install and then make install.
But then I got no braille output.
I also tried with my debian 2.6.24 kernel I had downloaded.
But I got no /proc/speakup directory and no /speakup directory so that
didn't work either.
So now I need a deb speakup package of the 2.6.26 kernel so that I can get
this to work.
Can any of you help?
/Kristoffer
