CoLinux-and-Speech?

Hi All:  Can some1 please give me an idea of whether I will be useing Jaws or a 
Lunux screen-reader, in CoLinux?  Considering I think windows is still running, 
can Jaws read like it did in DOS?  Obviously, if its Jaws, at least I would 
have good speech from Eliquence, but in Linux, I can run TTsynth.
Reading a unix shell from Jaws, tteraterm works reasonably well, but still must 
write scripts--and-tteraterm will not work with windows vista
