File Decompression Issues

Ok, as several of you have pointed out, the NLS books aren't
actually compressed directory structures as such. Rather, they are
compressed archives consisting of multiple files that need to be
housed within their own respective directories. Such being the
case, also as several of you have observed, the name of the
directory isn't crucial; one need only use a bit of common sense
where that matter is concerned. It is incumbent upon the individual
doing the archiving to come up with their own directory names.

I have been chasing my tail in a frantic circle trying to solve a
problem that really didn't even exist, because there were no actual
directory structures to decompress in the first place. However, in
my own chagrined defence, everything led me to believe that I was
dealing with directory structures and not mere file archives.

I want to say though, all of you were wonderful and ever so very
helpful, for which I am sincerely grateful. I look forward in the
very near future to begin contributing constructive feedback for
others, the likes of which I have received, as apposed to posing
queries.
