The android screen readers that are open source and freely available
are TalkBack from Google themselves and Spiel from Nolen Derelic(sp?)
Code Factery also has a screen reader called Mobile Accessibility but
it cost about $100.00 USD. It isn't really much better than the free
ones IMHO.

In general there are a lot of free or very in expensive applications
for the Android. It is not as accessible as an Iphone however. The
nice thing about open source though is it will only get better and
better and it isn't to bad currently.
