I'm glad to see that finally KDE is getting some accessibility work done 
on it.  I have no idea how well this is implemented or available in 
Debian, but it would be nice to have a choice between KDE and Gnome as 
sighted users do.  Scroll down a bit to get to the part about accessibility.
