Hello,
It took a while, but I finally got around to researching the liblouisutdml project. I started the process of building it on my archlinux machine and ran into a
couple of problems. During the configure process I get a few failed checks:
checking minix/config.h usability... no
checking minix/config.h presence... no
checking for minix/config.h... no
# later
checking for help2man... no
# ...
checking jni.h usability... no
checking jni.h presence... no
checking for jni.h... no
(1): I'm out of my depth when it comes to java. What would be the minimum java package that would give me a working JNI (Java Natural Interpretor or
something like that). From looking at the output of pacman -Ss java, my guess is "jre7-openjdk-headless." The answer probably depends on what I have
installed locally:
pacman -Qs java
local/gnome-js-common 0.1.2-2
GNOME JavaScript common modules
local/hsqldb-java 1:1.8.0.10-2
HSQLDB Java libraries
local/seed 3.2.0-1
Library and interpreter for JavaScript with GObject type system bindings.
(2): what is minix and where do I obtain the required files? I queried pacman and A.U.R. but couldn't find anything.
(3): Would help2man be a buildtime dependency?
Thank you:-)
