bittorrent clients for console users

Hi,

The transmission program come in different versions. One is GUI, one is
a daemon, and one, called transmission-cli, is a command-line client.

I know that BitTorrent had a trackerless protocol, where it could find
peers dynamically even if the torrent's main tracker was not alive I
think. Now with magnet links, this seems to be less of a problem.
