cvlc apparently limited

Another problem and the same failures happen with vlc as happened with 
rvlc so the authors are at least consistent is that when any command is 
entered incorrectly, lua keeps on coming up and throwing the errors.  
Unless people are experienced with lua debugging, how are they supposed 
to make any proper sense of those dialogs?  The only time it is ever 
proper to allow an underlying programming language to put any errors 
into any user dialog is when the message expresses the error very well.  
Fortran according to another programmer I know at work did that once for 
him but that's a very rare occassion when it actually happens.
