Ubuntu terminal with Orca

Is there a good way to move flat review to the position of the terminal
cursor?
It's kind of painful to use emacs or vi inside a terminal window with
Orca as a screen reader without this.

My solution so far has been to not use Orca much for terminal
windows. (I tend to use emacs terminal mode inside of emacspeak).
However it would be nice to have an Orca terminal strategy better than
what I'v found in the past.
