Tim, is your youtube-dl working today?

Thanks for the git info.
I have never used git before.
I installed youtube-dl using curl as shown on the download page.

sudo curl https://yt-dl.org/downloads/2014.07.25.1/youtube-dl -o /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl

it says its the latest version.

if i could find the direct urls i wouldjust play the audio with mplayer or vlc.
but then frogs dont have wings do they.
