latest debian and orca

Hi.
iI'm running mate.
When tuurning on the computer I just hear "screenreader on" then nothing.
Can this be something wrongwith that computer?
shall I throw this out?
I got so much sound problems with debian stable, so I decided to upgrade.
I wrote about them some time ago.
