That's not a new feature of Windows 10. All versions of Windows since
Win95 do that too. I've never had any luck with setting up a dual boot
situation unless Windows is installed first, then install Linux. Linux
doesn't trash the Windows boot sectors, but Windows trashes the Linux
boot record.

Caveat: I haven't tried installing Windows second since UEFI came along.
