Some ncftp Questions?

Strange.  That *should* have been the permissions column, returning
something like

  drwxr-x---

You can remove the pipe & awk, doing just

  $ ls -dlF $HOME $HOME/some_sub_dir

and it should give you entire line, not just my attempt to isolate
the permissions.

Also, can you FTP things *from* your Shellworld home directory, but
not *to* your home directory?
