Help installing Ubuntu Mate

Tony Baechler here. I'm sure others will help here, but I suggest writing to
me off list. I would need to know more about your hardware, sound card, etc.
I was having some trouble getting Orca to start, but usually if I wait a
little longer and try pressing Super-Alt-S multiple times, it eventually
starts. I found I had better results waiting for the DVD to completely boot
and start the live system rather than trying to start speech at the initial
menu which gives you the choice of trying Ubuntu or installing. You might
want to press Enter before Super-Alt-S just in case it's stuck at a prompt.
I don't have a Braille display here, but I suppose brltty could be getting
in the way. The only problem I had starting speech is the very low volume,
but I learned to wait a few minutes after the drum sound.
