I agree different people wanting different things is a universal
concern, not a Linux one. Granted, when it comes to the desktop
environment, Linux actually gives the user multiple options whereas
Windows and OSX try to enforce doing things Microsoft's or Apple's way
respectively, so perhaps Linux users are more vocal about what they
want while Windows and OSX Users are more likely to accept they're
stuck with what's available.

As for Orca, I'm pretty satisfied with its existing features, but I
wish the default Orca package didn't mandate installing braille
support, and I wish it was written in C++ instead of Python.

Though, what I really want is a text-mode browser that would be a
decent replacement for Firefox+Orca for browsing the web, because then
I could ditch the GUI altogether.
