Arch Linux:No sound on fresh install of mate.

[Linux for blind general discussion]

No. I don't even have that directory in my home folder. I can start
orca from the run dialog I just can't hear a thing. I can even get to
the settings by pressing insert space so I no its working I just have
no sound. And this is a fresh install of mate never been installed on
this system.
