Fenrir 1.9 released (fwd)

Thanks, Chrys.

It seemed useful to report the build error, but that's certainly no
problem. such things are to be expected with an actively developing
package.

Meanwhile, I make take another stab at building for Android. I'll report
if I get anywhere with that.
