Downloading from Google Docs (fwd)

Okay, alt+shift+F and navigating the resulting menu got me a plain
text file of the document in my ~/Desktop in a matter of seconds
whereas probably an hour or more accross multiple attempts using
normal web page navigation got me nowhere.

Not sure which is more annoying, that the solution was so simple, or
that its so far outside what I expect for web site user interfaces
that I'm likely to forget it by the next time I need to download a
google doc.
