Tiling WM with Orca, anyone?

Regarding Ubuntu mate on that machine, issues as in it doesn't run. I know it is a 64 bit machine, probably one of the oldest still working ones that I have ever seen. Was thinking drop arch on there, but have no clue what to do about a GUI for the guy since he's a total newbie.

By ‘issues’, do you mean problems?
Which distribution are you trying to use?
With some versions of ubuntu mate I find they work.
With ubuntu mate 20.4 I find I cannot install because of the fact that orca says ‘install as super user’ but not all the choices that are on the install screen.
