Fwd: Does anyone on here read code in braille?

I'm still learning braille just for this purpose. I have an old Pac Mate 40 cell .

As I'm still working on grade 1 US, can anyone suggests what output format works better? I assume "computer braille" but I am wondering if contracted braille would help with the longer lines of code... Any tips on how to develop better braille skills would be appreciated too as I'm self-teaching.

I use braille exclusively (or try to anyway) on linux and windows. I use either an 40 or 80 cell one line display depending on desk space. Yes they are expensive but for code I find them indispensible. Especially if you are working with code that uses lots of short names.
