Mint Mate folder options?

A correction to the second part of my original response...
I mentioned MintTweak, but it is Mate-Tweak.
sudo apt-get install mate-tweak
You can then access it from the main menu (Alt+F1)
System>Preferences>Look&Feel>Mate-Tweak.
