Jumping from Solus/Ubuntu to Slint...how easy is it?

Hi,

you can, building packages using scripts from https://slackbuilds.org

However, this needs to update the links to the source files in these 
scripts,
as they have changed.

I can provide instructions how to do that tomorrow, if you want.
