Getting started with Emacspeak?

Hi,

I am also on Arch. There is no problem with your Emacs. Also like you,
the latest version I am running is 28.1. 

Another way to get to your Emacspeak settings is to simply press C-e C,
that is pressing Contrl-e followed by uppercase C. This will bring up
Emacspeak customisations.
