Konsole progress/any good alternatives?

[Linux for blind general discussion]

Just took a look through Konsole's keyboard shortcuts. I didn't see 
anything listed for caret browsing, and hitting F7 on my Arch box didn't 
do a thing. It reads what I'm typing in however, not the output so 
something is being picked up by Orca
