[Cluster-devel] [PATCH] Resubmission of patch to add --without-* support

Hi guys,

the patch in attachment allows to disable the build/install targets for each
specific subsystem in the tree.

It also does a major clean up of top level Makefile thanks to Joel Becker
input/suggestions.

Some targets (specifically the kernel build targets have changed).
