[Container-tools] how does searching work in cdk docker now ?

We aggregate search with a solr backend to respond to search queries for
docket v1 api. V2 registry api does not support search but the client can
search the docker hub, I believe. It's not clear to me if we have a public
API reference to code against to serve search queries via docker cli.
