Hi Marc,

With 4GB RAM you should be able to run CDK. However you might not deploy 
good sized microservices  based application as it would need more 
resources.

Officially these are the platforms on which CDK is tested and supported 
. However I do not see any reason why you can not run it on Linux Mint. 
As long as you have a working Vagrant setup and you can install couple 
of Vagrant plugins you should be able to run CDK.
