We have a UEK Linux host running Directly connected to an EMC VNX5300 storage array. When the PNR setting are used the host
Shows random access when issuing a multipath ll command. It typically takes about two minutes for the path to recover or stabilize.
If no multipath.conf file is used the paths remain connected when one of the SPs reboots ( required for code updates ).

Is this a documented setup for the subject line dev-mapper service?
